NexGen Hockey is a Morristown, NJ academy founded by Michael Meisenbacher. Skating, shooting, hockey IQ, video review — plus the puck touches, ice time, and pipeline guidance to actually move a player forward.
/ The Story
Founded in 2024.
Michael Meisenbacher founded NexGen in Morristown after playing every level of the game — AAA youth in the AYHL, Junior A in the EHL and NCDC, NCAA Division III at Trine University.
He’d seen what made the players who kept advancing different — smaller groups, more puck touches, coaches who’d been at the next level, and someone in their corner who knew the road to AAA, junior, and college.
NexGen exists to do that for the next group.
